Direct seed outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier for transplanting. In mild climates, seeds can be sown outside in fall for late winter/early spring blooms. Soak seeds 24 hours before planting. Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom.
