Sow in early spring, as soon as you can work the soil, into warm, well drained soil, 13mm (1/2″) deep, 2.5cm (1″) apart. Germination: 10-14 days. When plants are 5-7.5cm (2-3″) tall, thin to 10-15cm (4-6″) apart. Beet greens are ready to harvest in approx. 35 days. Water thoroughly, once a week. May require feeding every 3 weeks.
Cook whole to retain the rings and slice just before serving.
