OSTROWSKIANUM
- Late Spring Flowering
- 20 Pack
- Great for naturalizing
- Zone 4
Allium “Ostrowskianum”, aka the “Pink Allium”, lives up to its name as its heads are adorned with many small florets, glowing with bright pink colour! One of the shorter allium varieties at only 10″ tall, “Ostrowskianum” makes up for its lack of height with its show-stopping vibrant beauty! This easy-to-grow allium will attract bees and butterflies with its fragrant scent and bright pink petals. A perennial that naturalizes easily and will return to your garden every year. Plant in well-draining soil in the fall (Sept-Dec) for a June bloom. Plant the bulbs 3” deep and space them approximately 3” apart. These sun-loving plants aren’t fussy and tolerate poor soils well. These plants are deer resistant but are advised that they are poisonous to pets if ingested. Try allium “Ostrowskianum” as a focal point in rockeries or late-spring borders.
