A vigorous climber which includes all of the best blue shades available. It will look stunning scrambling up trellis or over walls and can be grown in large pots on the patio with support.

Sow indoors March to April, 1.5cm (half inch) deep in pots or trays of seed compost. The seed coating is hard and it will hasten germination if the seeds are soaked in tepid water for a day or two beforehand. Maintain a temperature of approx. 20oC (68oF) and keep moist. Thin (prick out) to individual pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Harden off before planting out from June onwards at 30cm (12in) apart.
