Start 8-10 weeks before final spring frost. Sow in trays or pots, on to a fine compost, 3mm (1/8″) deep, 13mm (1/2″) apart. Water gently. Place plastic bag over seeds to keep warm and retain humidity. After germination (7-21 days) remove cover and keep at 15C (60F). Once seedlings have set their 3rd set of true leaves transplant to larger pots and grow on. Harden off before placing out 1 week after final frost. Water regularly.
Deadhead regularly to prolong blooming.
