Gardener’s Notes: A cool-season crop. Plant seed in early spring in light, well-drained sandy soil as soon as it can be worked. Sprinkle seeds evenly in the row. Thin seedlings to 1 inch. Radishes grow quickly and need even moisture while forming. Sow every 7-10 days until early summer for continuous supply. Harvest when rounded tops appear. Plant again in fall.
