An exceptional mixture of red and white, amazingly sweet alpine strawberries. Generally fruiting in the first year, they are a must have for patio containers. With generous crops and the added benefit of birds not recognizing the ripe white strawberries, so there’s more for you.
Approx. 150 seeds
Start indoors 8 weeks before final frost. Sow 5mm (1/4″) deep, 5cm (2″) apart in trays or pots of moist seed compost at a temperature of approx. 21C (70F). Water well and keep in warm (18C/65F) place. Keep moist. Germination in 14-24 days. Harden off prior to transplanting to a warm sunny location after last frost. Water frequently to avoid plant drying out.
Ready to be harvested when firm, smooth skinned, with a fresh green colour.
